Jennifer Halley

Jennifer is the owner and president of 3FTL. She currently serves as the case manager and program designer for all first responders in the 3FTL program.

Jennifer graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.S., Northeastern State University with an M.S., and recently graduated with a second master's degree in Psychology from Grand Canyon University with an emphasis in trauma.

Jennifer saw a need to develop a program that would assist first responders through their mental health treatment. After losing first responder friends due to suicide and watching the number of suicides daily in the first responder world climb, Jennifer developed a cross-functional, comprehensive mental health treatment team to serve local fire, police, and EMS departments so they can heal from the trauma experienced from serving their communities.

She has been married to Brian, a local firefighter, for 21 years, and has 2 girls ages 13 and 8. In her spare time, Jennifer can be found at O'brate Stadium in Stillwater Oklahoma, watching college baseball. She also enjoys exercising and reading anything related to neuropsychology.

“I made a promise to Mammie at Tony's funeral that I would do everything in my power, every breath I have, to not let another first responder, EVER die alone. I promised her and Tony's spirit that I would fight every day to reduce the mental health stigma among first responders and work my ass off to establish some sort of lifeline for them, so that no one suffers alone or must navigate the broken mental health world by themselves. I promised other first responders that I'd pick them up when they fall, I'd take their call in the middle of the night, I'd remove the gun from their hands or loosen the noose around their neck, because there is hope in tomorrow. We would give them that hope and make it as easy as possible for them to succeed and live the life that God intended them to live.

This is why I get out of bed every damn day at 5am. This is why I fight. This is why I'm tired all the damn time. but I wouldn't change a thing, nor would I want to be any other place than right here, right now carrying out God's will for my life.”
